Public Affairs is the only show of its type, originating in the Chicago Metro area, which devotes one half-hour each week to serious discussion, primarily featuring politicians and appointed public policy officials at city, state and national levels on public policy issues and politics. Public Affairs has aired weekly for the last decade with a new show and new guest each week.

Public Affairs airs weekly throughout the cities of Chicago, Rockford, and Aurora as well as 34 Chicago Metro suburbs and often on the Illinois Channel, which airs across the state of Illinois.
